OSAKA, JAPAN (MERXWIRE) – The “Kasashima Gallery Invitational Exhibition – Paris Station” will be held at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris during the first weekend and holidays of April 2025. Centered around the theme “La Beauté dans Chaque Éventail,” the exhibition merges Asian artists’ calligraphy and painting works with over 180 years of Kyoto’s traditional fan-making craftsmanship. It will showcase exquisite Kyo Folding Fans, reflecting the beauty of Eastern art and culture.
For the second quarter of 2025, Kasashima Gallery has invited outstanding and promising artists to participate, showcasing their works on Kyo Folding Fans adorned with traditional Chinese paintings and calligraphy. Among the featured artists, Wang Guang-Hwa, known for his mastery of ink painting techniques, will present “Emerald Shoots in Gentle Air”; Huang Tzu-Ying, a specialist in Chinese landscape painting, will display “Heavenly Waltz”; and calligrapher Chou Yao-Tsung, renowned for his expertise in Chinese philosophy, will exhibit “Ink Falls Like Rain.” Many other Asian artists will also contribute culturally rich and diverse artworks.
